MCA Malawi II, with support from our funding partner, Millennium Challenge Corporation – MCC, conducted a data collection mission in the cities of Blantyre, Zomba, Lilongwe and Mzuzu, to help update the project’s economic analysis of key information.
The four main cities in Malawi are set to implement a land project under the compact which will modernize city property tax systems and help strengthen the city councils’ revenue management: to improve public city services for their residents.
MCA Malawi II’s Transport and Land compact has placed a strong emphasis on its monitoring and evaluation components to help track performance and ensure that the activities progress towards their intended goals. This was also reaffirmed by the City Councils during the mission.
