Land – Improved Land Productivity Project (ILP)
The USD $44 million ILP Project is a policy and institutional reform project that seeks to improve land administration services, land governance institutions, and land revenue collection. Increasing funding at national and city council levels and improving expenditure systems will support improved land services to our people.
This project will be achieved through two activities, as follows:
1. Land Administration Resourcing and Institutions Activity
The sub-project will focus on Ministry of Lands and will involve the following activities :
- Land-related revenues reform and reform implementation,
- Organization and analysis of existing leasehold records
2. City Council Land-Based Revenue Modernization Activity
This activity will focus on all four city councils and will involve the following sub-activities:
- Legal, regulatory, and procedural transformation
- Property Mapping, Valuation, Property Record Automation, and Property Information Management System
- Social and Behaviour Change (SBC)
- Budget and Expenditure Management Support
