This week, we participated in a critical training on Anti-Fraud and Corruption, facilitated by our funding entity, Millennium Challenge Corporation – MCC.
The training has equipped us with the necessary skills to detect, prevent and report corruption throughout the implementation of the Transport and Land Compact.

#USEmbassyLLW Charge d’Affaires, Amy Diaz emphasized the importance of safeguarding the Compact funds, which come from U.S. taxpayers, by ensuring that all efforts are made to prevent any corrupt acts so that the funds can fully benefit the people of Malawi. Fighting corruption is a key indicator for all programmes funded by Millennium Challenge Corporation and a critical element in our mission to foster #economicgrowth and #reducepoverty.
